Anderson Clone Question

While browsing I found this interesting quote about the Anderson MOSO grove:
Rhizomes of this giant hairy-sheath edible bamboo were taken from the bamboo grove in the city cemetery at Anderson, SC, one of several groves of this bamboo started by Rufus Fant from the increase from a plant he procured about 1890 or 1893 from an importer on the Pacific coast. It was understood to have come from Japan.
Is the Anderson Clone expected to flower in the next few years? Or is this particular clone not known to flower? I had thought that MOSO flowers about every 120 years.

Very interesting find!

I'm close enough to scavenge for a little fallen seed if it does.

Maybe there is an even hardier moso in our future.

I still don't have the Anderson clone though. Couldn't find a source when I wanted it and now I'm convinced that I don't have room.
