Hello Mantis...question..looking at your Alphonse (beautiful by the way) has it not flowered in the past couple years.... mine has flowered both this past year and the previous.

I have 8 clumps of Alphonse Karr, and have not had any flowering. Two of the clumps have been in the ground for 4 years and the other six were planted 2 years ago.

guess I just have bad luck....or just too cold and stress flowering both years....it is only hanging on by a thread...I only have six new boos from all the seeds and none have shown any yellow so far :cry:

None of my B.m.'AK' have shown any signs of flowering.
